Based in the National Park Alto Tajo, 1-2 hours from Madrid, you can kayak down the spectacular river gorge. The trip descends a section of the river between 10-14 km, stopping for lunch in the middle of the trip, along with other stops in interesting areas where you will also have the opportunity to relax and swim. Available all year round, although the best time is between May and October.

 

Hen weekend kayaking includes:

  • Transfers from your hotel.
  • Full day of kayaking accompanied by an English-speaking local guide.
  • Instruction and safety briefing by an English-speaking professional.
  • Includes all equipment: canoe, life-jacket, wetsuit when necessary, and transport in the region.
  • Picnic lunch stop beside the river.
  • Return transfers to your Madrid hotel.

Hen weekend kayaking details:

  • You don't need previous experience, only the ability to swim. Any water that enters the kayaks and canoes along the way, automatically filters out without needing to return to a river bank to empty it.
  • The kayaks can carry between 1 and 3 people and normally the groups change between the different kayaks for variety during the trip.
  • The whole event lasts between 10-12 hours from door to door. Don't worry, you will be back in Madrid for your big hen night out!

The minimum group number required is 4 but no maximum. All you need to bring is a swimming costume, hat, trainers or sandles, sunglasses with attachment, disposable or water-proof camera, sun cream and a change of clothes.
